Christmas Advent Calendar Puzzle
Created for PuzzleTubes as a 500-piece jigsaw puzzle, this illustration of a festive Christmas village captures the holiday magic while providing a series of hidden objects and little stories to help you spend some happy times in this tiny world.

The illustration making was divided in several steps to make sure the client could contribute along the whole process, from the rough composition, to buildings placement and design, character's activities and color palette.

Final product
PuzzleTubes turned the illustration into an amazing AR experience, where after completing the puzzle the player gets to open each door to reveal a Christmas suprise.
I sent them a layered file, with options for open and closed doors, and also separate files with each one of the behind-the-door-surprises, organized so everything could be animated.
